Quiz responses
Your answers to quiz questions across six assessment categories: skills, personality, work values, education, work environment, and industry perception.
Career results
The career fit scores and rankings generated from your quiz responses.
Technical data
Basic technical information required to operate the service: session tokens, browser type, and IP address (for security and rate limiting only).
How We Use Your Data

- To save your quiz progress so you can resume later
- To display your results and career match history
- To authenticate your account and maintain your session
- To protect against abuse and enforce our terms of service
We never sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
- No data is shared with advertisers or data brokers
- No third-party analytics services have access to your data
- Your quiz responses and results are never used to train AI models
In the future, if we integrate third-party services (e.g., analytics, email delivery), this policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
Data Retention & Deletion
While your account is active
Your data is stored for as long as your account exists, so you can access your results at any time.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your Account Settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — all your personal data, quiz responses, and career results are permanently removed from our database.
Automatic cleanup
Incomplete quiz sessions that have been inactive for more than 90 days may be automatically removed.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — View all data we hold about you through your account dashboard
- Correction — Update your name and email through Account Settings
- Deletion — Permanently delete all your data by deleting your account
- Portability — Request a copy of your data (contact us via email)
- Objection — Contact us if you have concerns about how your data is processed

Children’s Privacy
Scrypath is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@scrypath.com and we will promptly delete that information.
Changes to This Policy
- We may update this privacy policy from time to time
- Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
- Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notification
- Continued use of Scrypath after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
