Most people finish in 5–8 minutes. The quiz has 29–44 questions depending on your answers — it adapts to give you more targeted questions in areas where you show strong signals.

The quiz assesses you across 6 dimensions: skills and competencies, personality traits, work values, educational background, work environment preferences, and how much industry perception matters to you. These are the same categories used in career psychology research.

Our quiz uses a 3-layer adaptive system. Everyone answers the same core questions, but follow-up questions are tailored based on your initial answers. If you show strong interest in analytical skills, for example, you’ll get more specific questions about data and research.

Currently you cannot go back to previous questions. Answer based on your first instinct — research shows initial responses tend to be more accurate than overthought ones. Back navigation within a layer is planned for a future update.

We compare your quiz profile against detailed career profiles built from O*NET data, BLS statistics, and academic research. Each career is scored on how well it matches your skills, personality, values, education, work environment preferences, and priorities. Scores range from 0 to 100.

A fit score of 75 means your profile aligns closely with the traits and values associated with that career. It doesn’t mean you’d be 75% good at the job — it means 75% of the measurable factors point toward it being a strong match for you.

Our scoring looks at objective trait-career associations, which sometimes surface matches you haven’t considered. A high score for an unexpected career often means your underlying skills and values align with it — even if it’s not on your radar yet. Yes. Your quiz answers are stored only in your account — we don’t share them with third parties or use them for advertising. We don’t run cross-user analytics on individual responses.

Yes. Go to Account Settings and click ‘Delete Account.’ This permanently removes your account, quiz answers, and results. This action cannot be undone.

No. We don’t sell, share, or monetize your personal data in any way.

Yes — an account lets us save your progress so you can resume if you close the browser, and it stores your results so you can come back to them later. You can register with email or sign in with Google or GitHub.

Yes. Your answers are saved to the server as you go. When you log back in, you’ll resume from where you left off.
